Virtual Baobab Storytime International Day of Peace
Tuesday, September 21, 2021 @6:30 PM
The International Day of Peace was established in 1981 by the United Nations General Assembly. The United Nations invites all nations and people to honor a cessation of hostilities during the Day, and to otherwise commemorate the Day through education and public awareness on issues related to peace.

Pyramid will celebrate with a reading of Change Sings: A Children’s Anthem by LR Central High student, Ms. Ayoka Boaitey!

About Change Sings: In this stirring, much-anticipated picture book by presidential inaugural poet and activist Amanda Gorman, anything is possible when our voices join together. As a young girl leads a cast of characters on a musical journey, they learn that they have the power to make changes—big or small—in the world, in their communities, and in most importantly, in themselves.
