Little Rock to Host White House Community Confidence Tour

WHAT:         

A press conference will be held as part of the White House’s Community Confidence Tour visiting Little Rock. The day-long visit will include roundtable discussions, a pediatric vaccine clinic and informal meetings with parents, teachers, and community leaders to discuss the impacts of COVID-19 from a health equity perspective and how the pandemic has impacted community violence.

There will be b-roll and sound opportunities at the vaccine clinic immediately following the press conference. Vaccine doses will be provided and administered by the Arkansas Department of Health Office of Health Equity and Kavanaugh Pharmacy.

PINE BLUFF, AR — The Pine Bluff Social Justice Activists, faith leaders and other community leaders will hold a brief but important press conference on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. on the steps of the east side of the municipal complex.

Who:          Social Justice Advocates, faith and other community leaders.

What:         Open Records Request & Press Conference.

Where:       Pine Bluff City Hall Steps on the East Side (Municipal Building Complex) .

Why:          To respond to the purported “investigative report” on racism and discrimination claims at the Pine Bluff Street Department.

When:        Friday, November 12, 2021 at 11:00 A.M.

Remarks and documentation will be presented in response to the Mayor’s report of the investigation into racism, discrimination, and retaliation at the Pine Bluff Street Department. Community advocates make open records request for preliminary investigative report, supporting documentation and evidentiary support.
