2. Inaugural Warren Nance Scholarship Celebration – Celebrating Two Legal Giants

Little Rock, AR – November 6, 2025 5pm (doors open at 4:30pm). Sistas-in-Law (SIL) proudly announces the Inaugural Warren Nance Scholarship Celebration to be held at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center in downtown Little Rock. This landmark event will honor two extraordinary women whose legacies continue to shape Arkansas’ legal community and beyond. The Honorable Joyce Williams Warren, the first Black female graduate of the William H. Bowen School of Law and Arkansas’ first Black female judge, and Dean Cynthia Nance, the first Black female law school in the state.
