“Day of Distinction” to recognize legendary “Bar-Kays” singer as Arkansas celebrates “Black History Month”

(Little Rock, AR) – Arkansas will be honoring a musical icon during the “Larry Dodson Day of Distinction”, as the state celebrates “Black History Month”, a time in which we recognize the history and contributions of African-Americans.

Mr. Dodson, famed lead singer of legendary Memphis R&B band, “The Bar-Kays”, will receive the prestigious “Arkansas Traveler” award, which will be presented to him by State Representative Matt Duffield.
