2. Meharry Medical College President Dr. James Hildreth Hosts Dr. Anthony Fauci to Keynote Virtual Health Summit

Organized by a national committee of leaders from industry, academia, government, primary care, oral health and professional associations, the Health Summit will reimagine and advance health equity, particularly related to oral health.

This virtual session—the first of three over the coming months—will feature a keynote conversation by 

Meharry President James E.K. Hildreth Sr., Ph.D., M.D. and NIAID Director Anthony Fauci, M.D.

Other featured speakers will discuss health integration and barriers to achieving whole-person and community-informed care that will integrate oral and systemic health, examining the elevation of racial justice and equity in eliminating COVID-19 health care disparities among the nation’s minority groups. Journalist Monique Pressley will moderate a panel to include:
