4. The Funkanites To Be Featured At ACANSA Festival of The South’s 10th Anniversary

The Funkanites an eight-piece Little Rock-based ensemble. Their focus is heavily on late ‘60s and ‘70s Afrobeat, soul, and funk with a contemporary s pin on the genres. Big bombastic horn lines are the norm, as well as an air tight rhythm section that stretches and sews the pocket, but never leaves it. They are ambassadors of music that is not so readily available in a live setting today.

A Live Show You’ll Feel–The Funkanites can turn any venue into a dance floor. If you love music that moves you, this is the band to see.
