LITTLE ROCK, AR — The African Women’s Health Project International (AWHPI) Global Foundation is returning to the city of its origin for its 20th Anniversary Celebration Conference & Honors’ Conclave, to be held July 10–12, 2025 at various locations in Little Rock.
With the theme “20 Years of Impact: Advancing Women’s Health, Powering Economic Equity, and Shaping a Future of Global Possibilities,” the foundation will mark a significant milestone: What began as a mission to provide accessible healthcare and empower African women and underserved communities has grown into a global movement for equity, innovation and peace.
This event will celebrate two decades of advocacy, leadership, and resilience, drawing international dignitaries, community changemakers, corporate partners, health professionals, educators, youth leaders and policy influencers.
The conference is designed to:
- Celebrate 20 years of impact by highlighting key milestones and outcomes in health, empowerment and global development
- Advance dialogue on critical issues via panel and roundtable discussions addressing leadership, health and wellness, education, innovation, AI and women’s advancement
- Foster intergenerational and cross-sector collaboration by connecting local and global voices across sectors to build new partnerships and sustainable models for change
- Honor outstanding leaders — national and international, Arkansans and diaspora leaders
