Little Rock, AR — In honor of Juneteenth, now recognized as a federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, Coffy Davis invites the public to take part in the 1st Juneteenth Freedom Ride — a free, inclusive, and family-friendly community bike ride.
WHEN: Friday, June 20, 2025
TIME: Meet at 6:00 PM | Ride departs at 6:30 PM
WHERE: Starting point is 501 W 9th Street, near the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center
This all-levels, social bike ride aims to bring the community together to celebrate freedom, reflect on local history, and enjoy a safe and casual ride through some of Little Rock’s most historically significant locations. The route begins and ends on 9th Street, with multiple stops to highlight the cultural and historical importance of the area. Total ride time is approximately one hour, not including stops.
Event Highlights:
- FREE to the public
- All bike types welcome (manual and electric)
- Helmets strongly recommended
- Casual pace, traffic laws will be followed

“This ride is about more than cycling. It’s about honoring freedom, fostering unity, and exploring the history that shaped our city,” says event organizer Coffy Davis. “Whether you’re a seasoned rider or new to biking, everyone is welcome.”
