WHAT:              Philander Smith University and Synchrony Bank will announce the ‘Education as an Equalizer’ Partnership aimed at advancing education equity. This initiative will expand access to higher education, skills training in high-growth fields, and financial literacy for underserved communities and its own workforce.

In the next five years, Synchrony Bank and its foundation will invest more than $50 million in three key areas: creating pathways to college completion, building skills for the future, and closing the financial knowledge gap.
