Little Rock, Ark. (March 6, 2023) — Arkansas Baptist College will hold its annual fundraiser, the 2023 Supper & Soul Gala, at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 20 at The Venue at Westwind in North Little Rock.
For over a decade, Supper & Soul has been the college’s largest annual fundraiser in support of student scholarships. Anticipating attendance of more than 500, the main attraction of the event is food, dancing and fun with a sumptuous buffet-style “soul food” meal and DJ-spun hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s.
Additionally, this year’s featured headliner will be the Grammy Award-winning artist Freddie Jackson, who dominated the R&B charts during the late 80s and early 90s. A key staple of the fundraiser down through the years has been the star power of its live musical entertainers. Previous headliners have been R&B and soul artists such as Heatwave, The Gap Band, Morris Day & The Time, and The Whispers.
