As a part of this planning process, the survey aims to ensure as inclusive and equitable of engagement as possible, knowing that Little Rock, like many cities, has historically made planning decisions without all voices at the table, often with detrimental impacts to Communities of Color.
The survey team, Sasaki is striving to better engage with the Black Community of Little Rock, including downtown residents and business owners, to ensure their input is captured, since this should be a plan for everyone Downtown.
