Today is the day and we are hours away from our annual Friendraiser! Don’t Miss Award winning singer and musician Ruthie Foster make a special appearance TONIGHT at 6 p.m. During this event you can give back in your PJs, and help our youth dream, give them resources to learn and encouragement to find their voices.
Stacey McAdoo, Arkansas’ 2020 Teacher of the Year, will receive our Spirit of Maya Award. The award will be presented during the organization’s annual FriendRaiser. The Spirit of Maya Award is presented to an individual who reflects literary icon Maya Angelou’s work toward bettering the world. It is awarded during the organization’s FriendRaiser, its annual fundraiser and donor appreciation event.
