Hospitality sales leader to spearhead sales strategy and convention growth
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) has announced the hiring of Stasha King Irby as its new vice president of sales & services. A seasoned sales professional, Irby returns to the Bureau after previously serving as a sales manager working with national associations.
Irby brings more than two decades of industry experience and a proven record of driving global sales growth, developing strategic partnerships, and leading high-performing teams. Her return to the LRCVB marks a significant step forward in the Bureau’s continued commitment to elevating Little Rock as a premier meetings and conventions destination.
“We are thrilled to welcome Stasha back to the LRCVB in this leadership role,” said LRCVB President & CEO Gina Gemberling. “Stasha’s extensive experience in destination marketing, her consultative sales approach, and her strong industry relationships will be instrumental in driving new business to Little Rock. Her passion for hospitality and deep knowledge of the market will benefit our partners, clients, and community.”
Most recently, Irby served as a global account manager for Choice Hotels International, where she was named a 2024 President’s Club Winner. Prior roles have included Visit Spokane, Royal Sonesta Houston, Ritz-Carlton New Orleans, and Hyatt Regency New Orleans, Little Rock’s former Peabody Hotel, among others.
A Magnolia, Arkansas native, Irby holds a Master of Arts in marketing from Webster University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Southern Arkansas University.
